Inverter prices in Pakistan do not sit still. They move with the dollar, with shipping costs, with what the importer paid three months ago, and with the season. A unit quoted at Rs. 140,000 in February can be Rs. 165,000 by May, not because anything changed about the product but because everyone in Lahore decided at once that summer was coming.
So a page called “inverter price today” has to be honest about what it can and cannot tell you. What follows is where the market sits as of early September 2026, drawn from current dealer and retailer listings. Use it to know whether a quote you have been given is reasonable. Do not use it as a fixed price list, because by the time you read this some of it will have moved.

Look at the Homage Vertex HVS-1214SCC row. Rs. 35,000 at one end, Rs. 65,500 at the other, same model number. That is not a typo and it is not a mistake. It is the single most useful thing on this page, and it deserves its own section.
The Markup Gap Nobody Warns You About
Manufacturers in Pakistan publish official prices. Retailers charge what the market bears. On several popular models today, the difference is enormous.
The Homage Bolt HBS-3217SCC lists at Rs. 69,600 on the manufacturer’s own site. Third-party retailers currently quote the same unit as high as Rs. 118,000. The HBS-3216SCC shows a similar pattern.
Some of that gap is legitimate. A retailer holds stock, provides installation guidance, handles your warranty claim and takes the unit back if it fails in week three. That service costs money and it has real value, particularly if you live somewhere with no manufacturer presence.
But a 70% markup is not a service charge. It is a bet that you will not check.
Two minutes on the manufacturer’s website before you accept a quote is the highest-return thing you can do when buying an inverter in Pakistan today. Check the official price, then decide what the dealer’s service is worth to you. Sometimes it is worth Rs. 15,000. It is rarely worth Rs. 48,000.

The overlaps look strange until you understand that capacity is only one of several things you are paying for. Weather sealing, tracker count, battery intelligence and warranty depth all move the price within a single capacity class, often by more than the capacity itself does.

Prices by Inverter Type
On-grid, cheapest per kilowatt
No batteries, no backup. Feeds the grid through a net meter and shuts down during outages, which is a safety requirement rather than a design flaw.
Current examples: Inverex Nitrox 6kW on-grid around Rs. 185,000. Crown Nexus 10kW on-grid around Rs. 165,000 to Rs. 180,000. Inverex Nitrox 75kW on-grid around Rs. 800,000.
Notice that a 75kW on-grid inverter costs less than some 12kW hybrids. On-grid units do no battery management, and battery management is where the cost sits.
Off-grid, for places the grid does not reach
Solar and battery only, no utility connection. Built for tube wells, farms and areas where WAPDA is theoretical. Pricing sits between on-grid and hybrid, though your real cost is dominated by the battery bank.
Hybrid, what most people buy
Solar, battery and grid managed together. Costs roughly 15% to 25% more than an equivalent on-grid unit and keeps working during outages. Current examples: Inverex Yukon II 3.5kW at around Rs. 81,000, Crown Yorker 5kW from around Rs. 98,000, and the 6kW class spanning Rs. 116,000 to Rs. 285,000.

Why Prices Change and When to Buy
The exchange rate
Almost every inverter sold in Pakistan is imported or assembled from imported components. Rupee movement passes through to retail within four to eight weeks. When the rupee weakens, quotes rise. When it strengthens, prices are slower to fall, because dealers are sitting on stock they bought at the old rate.
Seasonality, the one you can actually use
This is the pattern worth planning around. Demand climbs from March as people anticipate summer, peaks between May and July, and falls away from September.
Buy in the off-season. October through February is consistently the cheaper window, and dealers are more willing to negotiate on a slow week in December than on a 45-degree afternoon in June when six people are waiting behind you.

Stock cycles
A dealer who has just received a container is more flexible than one who is down to his last two units. It costs nothing to ask whether new stock has arrived.
Duty and regulatory changes
Import duty adjustments and policy shifts on solar equipment move prices in steps rather than gradually. These are announced rather than gradual, so they are worth watching if you are planning a large purchase.
What Actually Justifies a Higher Price
Before you assume the cheaper quote is the better deal, check whether the two units are the same kind of machine.
Ingress protection. IP21 means indoors only, in a dry ventilated room. IP65 and IP66 mean sealed against dust and rain, mountable outside. Dust is what kills inverters in Pakistan, not age. Sealed units cost 40% to 70% more and earn it back in dusty or coastal areas.
MPPT count and input current. Dual MPPT lets you run two panel strings independently, which matters if your roof has different faces or partial shading. Input current of 18A or higher is what you need for modern 580W to 620W panels.
Battery intelligence. Cheaper units guess battery state of charge from voltage, which works badly with lithium. Proper units talk to the pack over a BMS port. If lithium is anywhere in your plans, buy the inverter that supports it now, because retrofitting means replacing the inverter.
Surge rating and its duration. Every brochure lists a surge figure. Few state how long it is sustained. Two seconds and five seconds are entirely different when a pump or a deep freezer tries to start.
Transfer time. Ten milliseconds and your PC never reboots. Slower than twenty and you will hear the fridge stutter every time the grid blinks.
Warranty backed by a reachable service centre. A three-year warranty from a brand with no facility within 400km is a piece of paper. Ask where repairs happen and how long they take.

How to Avoid Overpaying Today
Check the manufacturer’s official price first. As shown above, the gap between official and retail can exceed Rs. 40,000 on a single model.
Get three quotes, and make them specific. Same model number, same IP rating, same warranty terms. Comparing a Rs. 116,000 IP21 unit against a Rs. 215,000 IP66 unit and picking the cheaper one is not saving money, it is buying a different product.
Ask four technical questions before discussing price. Surge rating and its duration, MPPT count, maximum input current per tracker, transfer time. A seller who cannot answer those should not be selling you an inverter.
Verify the model number against the manufacturer’s website. Counterfeit and rebadged units circulate, especially in the budget segment where buyers are price-focused.
Budget for installation separately. Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 25,000 for residential, more for commercial. Proper earthing, correct DC cable gauge and surge protection are what determine whether your inverter lasts ten years or eleven months. This is the worst possible place to save money.
Confirm your DISCO approves the model if net metering is the plan. Check before you buy, not after the paperwork stalls.
Buy in the off-season if you can wait. October to February beats May to July, consistently.
